Dry Indigo, new technology in the dyeing process
After years of research, one of our main fabric suppliers, Tejidos Royo, has been able to modify the conventional indigo dyeing process by creating “a unique dyeing process that dyes the indigo thread without using water, in a very small space, minimizing drastically its environmental impact and obtaining a unique color in the market ”.
The new Dry Indigo technology facilitates the obtaining of contrasted effects on the fabric, both through physical treatments and with the daily use of the garments, and, in addition, it entails:
• 100% water saving in the dyeing process
• 89% less chemical
• 65% reduction in energy consumption
• Zero water spills.
This new technology is certified under the ECO-TECHNOLOGY seal of Aitex, which guarantees that Dry Indigo is an ecological and sustainable technology for the Indigo thread dyeing process, with zero consumption and water spillage.
Thanks to the Dry Indigo technology that has provided us with Royo Fabrics and the constant evolution of our production processes, always aimed at minimizing the impact that as an industry we have on the environment, we have managed to create the Ecolojeans collection: 100% ecological finished pants and exclusive washes, created with recycled fabrics and BCI certified organic cotton.
As you can imagine, our Ecolojeans are also treated with Dry Indigo technology in their dyeing process. A product ‘Made in Spain’ sustainable, of the highest quality and chemical free perfect for you.
